Making a difference, one child at a time

"Sponsorship is such an impactful way to support the children here at Resplandpr de Vida. Bob and I have happily sponsored Yamileth for many years with letters, gifts and monthly financial support. Yamileth is 15 years old has been at Resplandor de Vida for 11 years! Meeting her for my first time was extra special and also emotional as we learned she will be leaving the children’s home to head to high school locally. She told us of her dreams and aspirations to attend college eventually for Accounting because she is very good at math! We know Yamileth’s future is bright and her foundation, strong. My heart is so overwhelmed with gratitude for this ministry and the life change that is happening for these children.

It has been such an honor to play a part in Yamileth’s story! We pray for God’s continued protection and favor over her life. May her love of Jesus grow stronger and may she always look back on these years with joy knowing she was seen, lifted and loved; not just by all of us but by the One who holds her tomorrows!"

“People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.”
